Last week we spoke about the SHAtter exploit on all devices powered by Apple’s A4 processor, and now guess what? The iPhone Dev Team has demoed the SHAtter jailbreak on the iPod Touch 4G and it also said that the exploit will be released in the near future.
The SHAtter exploit has been discovered by Chronic Dev Team’s @p0sixninja and developed by @pod2g into PwnageTool beta that made the iPod Touch 4G to work on iPhone Dev Team’s custom IPSW which brings root shell, Cyria, and the ability to display battery percentage among others to Apple’s beloved device.

The idea of this PwnageTool beta was to allow iPhone 4 users to install future iOS updates and in the same time to keep their baseband as well as the carrier unlock provided by ultrasn0w. Well, the iPhone Dev Team is always there for you and if you don’t believe it, then you can see for yourself.
